How to: Make a Donation In Groundswell

Step 1: Search for the charity of your choosing

Step 2: Click donate on the right hand side of the charity page

Step 3: Select one-time donation

Step 4: Enter your donation amount (you can select one of our pre-populated options or manually enter the amount)

Step 5: OPTIONAL If your company has a match program set up, you can edit the amount of your match that is sent to the charity. All you need to do is click the pencil icon and update the amount, if you don’t want to use your match at all, just put $0.

Step 6: Click “Go to checkout”

Step 7: Select how you want to fund this donation. 

• If you've selected credit/debit card, and it's your first time adding funds, you will be prompted to add funds to cover the donation via Stripe

• If you've selected bank account, and it's your first time adding funds, you will be prompted to add funds to cover the donation via Plaid

Step 8: Click “review and add note”

Step 9: Review the amount that you are sending to the charity and add a note if you would like! Please note: if you are donating to a marathon fundraiser a note is highly encouraged!

Step 10: Click “Donate and pay”

Step 11: That’s it! You’ve made a donation to a charity in Groundswell!
