How To: Set Up and Remove Recurring Contributions

If you are interested in learning how to set up and remove recurring contributions on Groundswell's, you've come to the right place! 

 

Recurring Contributions on Web App:

Setting up recurring contributions: 

  • Click "Contribute"
  • Add your funding source. Learn more about this here
  • If you select "Bank account" you will need to complete the Plaid prompts to add your bank account 
  • Once you return to Groundswell's funding page, toggle to recurring contribution
  • Select the amount you wish to contribute 
  • Determine your contribution schedule (1st of the month or 15th of the month) 
  • Click "Set recurring contribution" 

To remove a recurring contribution: 

  • From your Groundswell dashboard scroll to the bottom section labeled "Recurring Giving" 
  • Toggle over to the "Recurring contributions" section
  • Click on the three dots next to the recurring contribution you want to remove 
  • Then click "Remove recurring contribution" 
  • The last step is to click "confirm" on the confirmation screen 

Recurring Contributions on the Mobile App:

Setting up recurring contributions on the Mobile App: 

  • Click "Contribute"
  • Click "Recurring contribution" 
  • Type the amount you want to contribute 
  • Click "Add A Bank Account" 
  • Complete the Plaid prompts to add your bank account 
  • Once your bank account is connected, determine your contribution schedule (1st of the month or 15th of the month) 
  • Click "Confirm contribution" 

To remove a recurring contribution: 

  • Click "Profile" on the bottom right of the app
  • Click "Scheduled giving" 
  • Toggle over to "Recurring contributions" 
  • Click the recurring contribution you want to remove 
  • Click "End recurring contribution"
