Select your match program
The different types of programs are the following:
- Donation Match
- Instantly match the dollars your employees donate to your approved list of charities
- Volunteer Match
- Set up a volunteer match program and reward your team members for their commitments at approved charities
- Combo Match
- Allow employees to send matching funds to charities for both donations and volunteering within a single program
Program Name
Start by giving your match program a name that’s clear and descriptive.
Example: 2025 Yearly Giving Match
Program Schedule
Set the timeframe for when your match program will be active:

Start Date (required): When the match becomes available to employees.

End Date (optional): When the program will end. Leave blank to keep it open-ended.
Recipients
Choose which employees are eligible:

All current and future employees – Best for company-wide programs.

Select individual employees – Choose specific people manually.

Select employee segments – Target based on team, location, tenure, etc.
Match Rules
Set the guidelines for matching donations and volunteer hours.
1. Match Ratio
Choose how much your company will contribute for every dollar donated or hour volunteered.

Common options: 1:1, 2:1, or custom.
2. Volunteer Rate (if applicable)
Set the dollar value matched per hour of volunteer time.

Example: $10 per hour
3. Per Employee Cap
Decide how much each employee can receive in matches during the program.

Example: $1,000
4. Program-wide Cap (Optional)
Set a total budget for the entire program if you'd like to limit overall spending.
Review & Launch
Once all fields are complete, a summary will show your selections and total potential program cost (based on 100% employee utilization). Review the message at the bottom to verify what the match covers, and click Create match program to activate it!
