How To: Submit Volunteer Hours

Groundswell Web App

Step 1: Login to Groundswell 

Step 2: Select Volunteer at the top right 

Step 3: Select "Log volunteer hours" on the 

Step 4: Complete the volunteer hours form and add any documentation. Documentation may not be required for every event so if you don't see that option that’s okay! 

Step 5: Select “Submit Hours”

Step 6: Once your hours are approved (if applicable) you will see your Volunteer Match in your Groundswell account! 

Step 7: Donate your new account balance, thanks to your volunteer match, to any charity in Groundswell! 

Groundswell Mobile App 

Step 1: Login to the Groundswell App 

Step 2: Scroll down to the “Log Hours” button in the “Volunteer Hours” bucket 

Step 3: Complete the volunteer hours form and add any documentation. Documentation may not be required for every event so if you don't see that option on your app, that’s okay! 

Step 4: Select “Submit Hours” 

Step 5: If required, your Groundswell Admin will review and approve (or deny) your volunteer hours. 

Step 6: Once your hours are approved (if applicable) you will see your Volunteer Match in your Groundswell account! 

Step 7: Donate your new account balance, thanks to your volunteer match, to any charity in Groundswell! 

If your Groundswell Admin denies your volunteer hours you will receive the below email, if you have any questions as to why your hours were not approved, please contact your Groundswell Admin.
