Groundswell now offers the ability to track individual volunteer hours, including Volunteer Time Off, so if you are looking to set it up in Groundswell just follow these easy steps to configure Volunteer Hour Tracking
Step 1: From the left side menu of your admin dashboard navigate to "Settings"
Step 2: Select “Volunteering” in the top menu options
Step 3: Select the toggle on the top right of the “Track volunteer hours” box to turn on volunteer hour tracking
Step 4: Complete the information in the “Track volunteer hours” box to match your company volunteer program.
Step 5: Choose the approval process that matches your company volunteer program
Step 6 (Optional): If you will require your employees to submit documentation proof from a volunteer event they attend, you will want to select the option under “Require documentation”
Note: if your company volunteer program requires employees to submit documentation from a volunteer event, you will need to select “Require approvals on volunteer matching only” OR “Require admin approval for all volunteer submissions” so the “Require documentation” section shows up
