Oct. 1 — Submit Non-U.S. Add Charity requests

🎁 EARLY DECEMBER

Dec. 1 — Giving Tuesday
Dec. 7 — Submit U.S. Add Charity requests
Dec. 7 — Initiate stock contributions

🎉 BEFORE THE BALL DROPS

Dec. 31 — Submit your volunteer hours
Dec. 31 — Submit receipts for donations made outside of Groundswell
Dec. 31 — Complete credit card/bank account contributions

Made a donation earlier this year and want to know where it is? You can check the status anytime directly from your Donation History.

💡 REMINDERS

Waiting for a donation to reach the charity? Contributing funds to your Groundswell DAF and recommending donations to charities are separate steps. A donation does not need to reach the charity by December 31 for your Groundswell contribution to be recorded with a 2026 contribution date. If you have questions about the tax treatment of your contribution, consult your tax advisor.
Supporting a fundraiser or campaign? If you’re donating to support a specific fundraiser or campaign, use the donation note to include the fundraiser or participant’s name. This helps the nonprofit understand where you’d like your donation directed.
Waiting for your 2026 Groundswell tax receipt? Groundswell typically issues 2026 tax receipts during the last week of January. You'll receive an email as soon as yours is ready, so keep an eye on your inbox in January.
