I can't find the charity I want to support. What now?

Some organizations may be listed under their legal name rather than the name they commonly use. Before submitting a request, try searching using the organization’s:

• Legal name
• Tax ID or EIN (U.S. organizations)
• Charity registration number or Charity ID (non-U.S. organizations)

If you still can’t find the organization, you can submit a request to add an organization to our database HERE.

What happens next?

Our team reviews all charity requests within 3–5 business days.

• If the organization is already in Groundswell, we’ll let you know how to locate it.
• If it’s a organization based in the U.S., we’ll review it for eligibility and add it if it meets the Groundswell Charitable Foundation's requirements.
• If it’s an organization based outside of the U.S., we’ll begin our international verification process with our partner, CAF America.

Because organizations based outside of the U.S. require additional verification and coordination with both the organization and CAF America, this process can take up to 90 days, depending on how quickly all parties respond.
