How To: Request to Add a Charity to the Match Eligibility List

If you find a charity in Groundswell that isn’t currently available for donations or volunteering through your company’s program, you can submit a request for your company administrator to review.

Note: Requests are sent directly to your company’s program administrator, not to Groundswell. Approval is based on your company’s giving program guidelines, and requests are submitted anonymously.

Submit a Charity Request

Step 1: Find the charity

From your dashboard, click Give or use the search bar at the top of the page to search by:

Charity name
EIN
Tax ID

Open the charity you’d like to support.

Step 2: Select

On the right side of the charity’s profile, you’ll see a Support card.

Click Make a request.

Step 3: Tell your administrator why you’re requesting the charity

A request window will appear.

In the Provide a reason field, briefly explain why you’d like this charity to be available in your company’s program.

For example:

This organization provides multiple lanes of support one is providing safe space for education of teens
This is my local food bank and I’d like to volunteer here.
This organization is important to my family and I’d like to support it through our workplace giving program.

When you’re finished, click Send request.

Step 4: Wait for your administrator’s review

Your request will be sent to your company’s program administrator for review.

If approved, the charity will become available based on your company’s program settings and eligibility requirements.

Good to know

💡 Requests are anonymous. Your company administrator will receive the request, but your identity is not shared.

💡 Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee approval. Each company has its own eligibility guidelines, and administrators determine which organizations can participate in their program.
