How To: Set Up and Remove Recurring Donations

If you are interested in learning how to set up and remove recurring donations on Groundswell, you've come to the right place!

Search for the charity you want to donate to in the search bar on the top of your page
Click that charity's profile
Click "Donate" on the charity's profile
Toggle over to "Recurring donation"
Type the amount you want to donate
Click "Add a bank account to cover this donation each month"
- Please note: once you do this it also sets up a recurring contribution on your profile. If you don’t want to set up a recurring contribution at the same time you will need to uncheck this box.
Determine your donation schedule (1st of the month or 15th of the month)
Once you've picked your donation schedule you will click "Set recurring donation" at the bottom of the screen

From your Groundswell dashboard scroll to the bottom section labeled "Recurring Giving"
Click on the three dots next to the recurring donation you want to remove
Then click "Remove recurring donation"
The last step is to click "confirm" on the confirmation screen

First set up a recurring contribution
Once you have a recurring contribution navigate back to the home screen
Click the "Donate" button on the home screen
Search for the charity you want to donate to
Click that charity's profile
On the bottom right of the charity's profile card you will see "recurring donation" in teal
Click "recurring donation"
Type the amount you want to donate
Determine your donation schedule (1st of the month or 15th of the month)
Once you've picked your donation schedule you will click "confirm recurring donation" at the bottom of the screen
