Why am I seeing “groundswell.io” on my credit card statement?

If you recently made a donation or added funds to your Groundswell account using a credit card, the charge will appear as “groundswell.io” because Groundswell processes payments for your organization’s program.

Some programs are fully branded with your company’s name, but the underlying payment processor is Groundswell — so the statement descriptor reflects that.

If you don’t recognize the transaction, check your giving history in your account or contact your program administrator before filing a dispute with your bank.
